If you do your powerviolence research as much as we do, you would have come across little tidbits of info about Dillinger Escape Plan's new album in the works. Though still tentitively untitled, the Dillinger guys hit the studio June 1st with Steve Evetts at the helm. Since we're all completely salivating for just a taste of what's to come, they were nice enough to post up a teaser video of the work on the record (which you can see below)... In the band's own words, "our album is going to slaughter everything you think we are capable of on every level." That's a pretty giant statement, so I really hope it lives up to it... We all know their fan base was divided on the last one (I, for one, will go on record and say I have loved everything this damn band has put out and done), so hopefully this next viciously melts all our faces and brings us back together... just like Public Enemy and Anthrax did so many wondeful years ago...
