So Sick It Hurts: Destroyer Destroyer- "The Dead Sleep Like Us for a Reason"

This album pretty much kicks the shit out of every other record ever created. Destroyer Destroyer hail from Oklahoma City, and they deliver an insane dose of techgrind that pushes the audio limit to new boundaries. The music is obviously extremely heavy, but the vocals and the technicality of everything really make sure you take notice. They are certainly more memorable than most grind bands out there.

As soon as you turn this motherfucker on, you're greeted by wailing screams and intense growls. As said, it's got a good dose of technical guitar work and has a few of the usual "techy" interludes, but the band never loses sight of being as punishing as humanly possible. There is plenty of down-tuned chugging that you can get your dance on to, so you don't have to be worried about that. We all know some bands get way to technical, and you just end up bored. Not here.

You need this album. That's all there is to it. Go get it. Seriously. Right now.

Take a look at the video of them live. (The audio's pretty bad. Sorry.)
