Important Moments in Powerviolence - Napalm Death

Perhaps you are confused about Napalm Death. Maybe you forgot that this British band have been pounding away since 1982, that their 1987 debut, Scum, set a standard of brutal grindcore for an entire generation.... That's all fine and good, but in our first installment of important moments in powerviolence, we would like to focus on something WAY more important (in our opinion)...

Our first important moment is the fact that they hold the world record for shortest song—the 1.316-second “You Suffer,” sharing that Guinness Book of World Records glory right alongside the world’s largest accordion and Radhakant Bajpai’s 5.19” ear hair. Now please do not disregard them without truly appreciating the creative toil that goes into such an accomplishment.

So, in honor of this important moment, we suggest listening to "You Suffer" 456 times in the next ten minutes .... do your ears a favor... they'll thank you.

Napalm Death. World Record champion of powerviolence.

Now thank them.
