Get The Fuck Back Together, Idiots: The Suicide File

I came upon these guys right when the news was coming of their breakup... not to be cliche, but I feel like I was fucking robbed. It's a shitty moment when you discover a band that really gets a reaction out of you, and when you investigate more on them, you find out that they've decided to fold up... Assholes.

If you aren't already wise to the way of The Suicide File, they were a group that (unlike the ridiculous amounts of other bands trying to do the same) flawlessly merged the punk sound with what, in the late 90's, we came to know as the hardcore sound. Intensity and controlled aggresion were the two most effective ingredients of their arsenal... More aggresive than the likes of The Bronx, and just slightly less blues/groove oriented, they still pack a solid heart of garage rock swagger juiced up on speed and fire. One listen to anything off their numerous EP's or their dynamite album 'Twilight', you'll see exactly what I mean, and feel just as cheated that decided to call it quits... once again, thanks assholes.
