So Sick It Hurts: Kill the Client - "Wage Slave"

Clocking in at just over 14 minutes with 11 tracks, Kill the Client's "Wage Slave" is out to destroy you quickly and ferociously. In true grindcore fashion, these guys make sure to bring the thrash riffs and blast-beats we all know and love, leaving our brains splattered around the insides of our cabesas.

While the Dallas, Texas band does not bring the level of technicality of some of the grind being produced these days, they are consistently heavy and full, with no downtime spent on tricky guitar-play. It's just pummel, pummel, pummel, and sometimes that's all you're looking for. Of course the presence of insane vocals are always needed, and one will not be disappointed when giving this release a listen. The growls are great, and the screams are even better, although they are used a lot less.

Overall, this is a killer album and should be given a listen by anyone into heavy music in general. It's not the best out there, but it still delivers a heaping dose of eardrum destruction.

Here's them playing "Money Whore" live...
